How it works, step by step:
You pay the equivalent of one year's rent in one payment to MonLoyerGaranti, when you sign the lease.
MonLoyerGaranti then pays the rent to the owner each month, according to the planned schedule (for 12 months).
You no longer have to manage monthly payments: everything is automated, secure, and without additional intervention.
This model allows you easy access to housing, even without a credit history or with an unstable financial situation, as well as increased confidence for the owner, who receives his rent each month without risk or delay.

Each advert presents all the essential information: number of rooms, equipment included, photos of the accommodation, rental conditions, and rent amount.
Click the "Apply" button from a listing to begin your application. You will be guided through each step to enter your information and submit your supporting documents.
Once your application is complete (profile completed, documents submitted, and warranty activated), the landlord will review your file. The average response time is a few days. You will be notified directly via your tenant account. You will receive a notification in your tenant account as soon as a decision is made.
If your application is accepted, you can proceed with the payment of the rental deposit (equivalent to one year's rent). The lease is then signed between you and the landlord.
Once the lease is signed, MonLoyerGaranti takes over and ensures the monthly payment to the landlord. You can manage all your communications from your personal space.
In the event of a problem (work to be carried out, disaster, incident in the accommodation, etc.), the platform directs you to the right people and supports you in the steps to follow.
As the end of the lease approaches, you will need to:
Comply with the terms and conditions: notice to be sent within the time limits, exit inventory, handing over of keys, etc. MonLoyerGaranti can assist you with handing over the premises or any other administrative steps, if necessary.
You can then, if you wish, launch a new housing search directly via the platform, with your profile already completed.
In Quebec, this nomenclature indicates the number of main parts:
The number : bedrooms, living room, dining room (if separate).
½ : bathroom.
Examples:
1 ½ : studio (one room + bathroom).
3 ½ : one bedroom, living room, kitchen + bathroom.
4 ½ : two bedrooms + living room, kitchen + bathroom.
A residential house that consists of two separate units (duplex) or three separate units (triplex), etc. The units can be side by side or one on top of the other. A duplex does not mean that an apartment is on two floors.
Furnished : the apartment is fully equipped — furniture (bed, table, sofa), household appliances, sometimes dishes and bedding.
Semi-furnished : Includes only basic appliances, usually the refrigerator and stove (sometimes washer/dryer).
Always check with the owner what exactly is included.
